In response to a recent increase in vehicle break-ins here, The Brentwood Police Department will hold a community forum on neighborhood crime at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the Brentwood Recreation Center.
Residents will be able to voice concerns and ask questions. Police will offer ideas for prevention. Chief of Police Dan Fitzgerald announced the forum in his blog, The Chief’s Desk, on May 9. He wrote:
In the last few weeks, we have received several reports regarding vehicles entered overnight. Many citizens are concerned about their safety and are frustrated by the recurrence of this type of activity in our neighborhoods.
On Tuesday May 17th, the Brentwood Police will host a “Community Forum” to discuss the issue of neighborhood crime, specifically vehicle break-ins. We will discuss this trend and offer some ideas for prevention. We are interested in listening to your concerns and questions from the Brentwood community.
This event will be held at the Brentwood Rec Center, 2505 Brentwood Boulevard, at 7 p.m.
