Fifth Third Bank in Brentwood was converted to Great Southern Bank last month, one of 12 St. Louis area Fifth Third branches and related deposits and loans Great Southern acquired last September.
According to a company press release, customers were converted to Great Southern Bank’s system at the end of January and “can expect to see the same familiar faces serving their banking needs.”
“We’re proud to be a member of the Brentwood community,” said Vice President Director of Retail Banking Kris Conley. “We’re confident our company will fit in very nicely here and we look forward to building winning relationships with the community and serving customer needs for years to come.”
Brentwood customers can use any of Great Southern Bank’s 20 locations in St. Louis and St. Charles.
With total assets of $4.1 billion, Great Southern offers banking and investment services. It is headquartered in Springfield, Mo., and operates 107 retail banking centers and more than 200 ATMs in Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota and Nebraska. It also has loan production offices in Tulsa and Dallas.
