About a thousand people attended St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School’s God’s Cod Fish Fry on Friday in the school’s gym. It was the first of seven fish dinners the school is offering in February and March to celebrate Lent and raise money for the parish’s school.
The menu offers fried cod, baked salmon, fried shrimp, fish tacos, and fish and chips, plus cheese pizza and macaroni and cheese for kids. Prices for the adult items range from $6 to $13. Two side dishes and a homemade dessert are included.
The dinner will be held again from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 and 26 and March 4, 11, 18 and 25. Eat in the gym or use the drive-thru.
