Two to three inches of snow fell in the St. Louis area on Tuesday, causing school districts in Brentwood and elsewhere to cancel classes Wednesday and after-school activities Tuesday and Wednesday. On Wednesday dozens of sledders took advantage of the day off to ride the big slope at Oak Tree Park. Though there were only a couple of inches of snow on the hill, it held up well to all the traffic. More than a dozen sledders were still using it as of late Wednesday afternoon.
