Mark Twain vocalists perform winter show

The Brentwood High School auditorium was filled almost to capacity on Tuesday night for Mark Twain Elementary School’s annual Winter Sing.

Each grade level of students performed two songs, directed by Debbie Stinson. The fifth graders ended the night with Mozart’s “Peace I Leave With You,” an especially meaningful song in light of current world events.

Students sang, danced and played seven different instruments, including xylophones, jingle bells, tubanos, recorders, shekere, triangles and tambourines.

Art teacher Jamie Davis provided decorations and props.

Brentwood School District Director of Music Debbie Stinson directed all six of the choirs.
