The Brentwood High School soccer team stayed stuck in fourth place in the conference with a 3-0 loss to Crossroads on Tuesday at BHS.

The loss kept the Eagles toward the bottom of the five-team South Central AA Conference. They can still move up by winning their two remaining games, against Hancock and Valley Park, but it won’t be easy. It took a shootout to beat Hancock on Sept. 19 and four days later they edged Valley Park by only one goal.

For the most part, Brentwood, 5-7 overall, has put up good fights against league opponents. Delete their 8-0 loss to Bayless and their remaining three losses were by a total of five goals.

Eddie Wright leads BHS in scoring, followed by Quinn Evans, Ben Moran and Seamus Saunders. Saunders, Wright and Bradley Jones are the assist leaders. Jordan McGehee is the goalkeeper.

Last year the Eagles finished 8-12 overall and in third place in the conference.
